Not at all. It’s entirely up to you if you choose to insure your goods whilst in storage. However, upon moving into storage, we will ask you sign to agree that you have been offered insurance and declined it on this occasion. It will then be your responsibility to insure your goods.

Yes. Our policy purely covers the items that are in storage and the value you have placed on them. The policy does not change or is any different based on the type of storage user you are. If you are providing your own insurance, please let a member of the team see the policy and we’ll upload scan to your account.

Our insurance cover starts from just £1.50 per week per £1,000.00 worth of cover. You can then add multiples of (up to) £1,000.00 thereafter. Because we invoice four-weekly, that means that of you have up to £5,000.00 worth of cover on your storage unit, it will cost an additional £30.00 on your storage invoice.
